The idea
Hospiwall was created with one simple idea: no one should go hungry during a difficult moment.
We know that hospital visits are often unplanned. Whether you’re a family member rushing to a loved one’s side, a patient waiting for news, or a staff member finishing a long shift, finding a decent meal late at night shouldn’t be another thing to worry about.
That’s why we placed our automated food wall right at the Amsterdam UMC parking lot. Available 24/7, our robot kitchen prepares fresh, healthy meals to order. From hearty pasta dishes to light salads. With options for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets. No queues, no closing times. Just good food, whenever you need it.
Who are we?
We are Sabine and Marit, two students from Wageningen University & Research with a plan to make healthy food accessible in difficult times. The idea stems from a hospital visit late at night, where no shops were open and only quick, not that healthy meals were available. We study Management- and Consumer studies and decided that with our skill set, we could make a change.
